1. Who we are

The Body Health & Wellness ("we", "us", "our") is a gym and personal training business located at 215 Buffalo St., Gilmer, TX 75644. You can reach us at thebodyhw@gmail.com or (903) 841-8230.

2. What we collect

• Account info: name, email, and password when you create a member account.
• Booking & contact info: name, phone, email, and the service you requested.
• Payment info: processed by Square. We never see or store your full card number — Square handles all card data under PCI-DSS.
• Files you upload: documents and media you share through the member file library.
• Usage data: basic analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location) via Google Analytics, used only to improve the site.
• Cookies: required for sign-in sessions and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time.

3. How we use it

• To provide gym access, training, and the services you sign up for.
• To process payments and send invoices and receipts (via Square).
• To contact you about bookings, schedule changes, or account issues.
• To improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with the vendors we need to run the business:

• Square — payments, invoicing, and subscription billing.
• Supabase — secure database and authentication.
• Google Analytics — anonymized website traffic.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account and billing records as long as you're a member and for a reasonable period after cancellation for tax and legal reasons. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• See what data we have about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your account and personal data.
• Stop marketing emails (we don't send many — but you can opt out anytime).

7. Children

Our site isn't directed at children under 13. Minors can train at the gym only with a parent or guardian who has agreed to our terms on their behalf.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) and reputable providers (Square, Supabase). No system is 100% secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.

9. Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
