KANA — A WALKING MIRACLE.

Shared by Joe Hahn, founder of The Body Health & Wellness.

I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Kana about her story, and I left that conversation reminded why it's so important to lean into God. Spiritually inspiring to say the least.

Kana is a fighter. Proving being strong in your faith will see you through when the storms of life feel overwhelming.

She has battled multiple strokes, endured things most people could never imagine, and yet she refuses to live as a victim. Her story is not just inspiring, it is a testimony.

As Kana began sharing her story with me, she told me about what happened after her last stroke. She ended up in a paralysis state. She could hear what was going on around her, but she could not respond. She could not move. She could not speak. She was trapped inside her own body.

She told me that when she was rushed to the hospital, it became a life-or-death situation. The medical team had to act fast to keep her alive. Kana said she was fully conscious when they began opening her trachea to help her breathe. She remembers being awake. She remembers feeling them keep her open. She remembers seeing the bright lights above her before the medicine finally kicked in.

She also shared another painful moment with me. She said she was fully conscious when they placed a bite block in her mouth without anything to numb the experience. The pressure was so intense that it shifted her front teeth and caused some of her lower teeth to lose feeling.

She remembers the pain.

She remembers the fear.

She remembers tears rolling down her cheeks because she had no way to tell anyone what she was feeling.

Kana was fully aware, but unable to respond.

While she was in that state, she overheard doctors tell her family and closest friends that she would never be able to independently function without the assistance of a machine. They gave her only a 2% survival rate.

But Kana also heard something else.

She heard her father refuse to accept that prediction.

For two more weeks, Kana remained on life support. During that time, she was filled with anxiety. She felt trapped. She was afraid. But in the middle of that darkness, she cried out to God. She begged Jesus for mercy. She asked Him to help her through it.

Kana told me there came a moment when a calming, comforting presence surrounded her. She came to a place of peace and asked Jesus to watch over her sons if it was her time to go.

"BUT GOD TOLD ME IT WAS NOT MY TIME."

— Kana

He told her she would get through this.

What makes this even more powerful is that leading up to that moment, her father and siblings had been praying for a miracle. They were praying that Kana would move something, anything, just to show that she was still there.

Then Ashley, one of her sister's good friends, came to see her. Kana told me Ashley asked her sister to step out of the room. She placed anointing oil on Kana and began praying over her.

Ashley prayed that if it was Kana's time, the Lord would take her, because she knew Kana was miserable hooked up to everything. But she also prayed that if God was going to save her, then He would show a sign.

And that is when Kana heard it.

Move your toe.

So she did.

She moved her toe.

That moment became the beginning of a miracle.

Her sister saw physical life begin to come back into Kana's body. For the first time, Kana had a way to respond. She had a way to show them she was still there.

Day by day, little by little, Kana began to improve. It was not instant. It was a process. But what doctors believed was nearly impossible, God began to restore.

Kana wholeheartedly believes her life is meant to show others that God is real. That Jesus Christ is the real deal. That miracles still happen.

And after hearing her story, I believe that too.

Kana is a walking miracle.

For me personally, it has been an honor to work with her. She is not just a client. She is a beautiful child of Christ, and when I learned her story, I felt deep in my spirit that this was not just another opportunity to train someone.

This was a trust from God. A guarantee that this was already paid for.

To work with Kana is to witness strength, faith, resilience, and purpose.

Her story is living proof that the story is not over when the world says it is.

God still speaks.

God still restores.

God still performs miracles.

YOUR STORY ISN'T OVER EITHER.
